The team at Thndr wanted to make a bold impression as we launched in KSA, so we were tasked with creating a dynamic landing page that would capture the essence of the local culture while staying true to the Thndr brand.

To make the experience resonate with users, I wanted to create an immersive experience and turned to world-building in TV and video games for inspiration. I illustrated iconic landmarks from both the historical and modern sides of the city—showcasing the charm of "Old Riyadh" with its iconic Faisaliyah and Mamlakah towers, alongside the sleek, futuristic vibe of newer landmarks like the KAFD metro. This blend of hertitage and modernity helped establish Thndr’s presence in Saudi Arabia, while also sparking excitement and a connection with local users.
