There’s a term for the feeling you get when you repeat a word over and over again until it loses its meaning: semantic satiation. (Belong. Belong. Belonging. Be-longing.) This editorial project is an ode to coming of age in a globalized world, where the house and the home are becoming increasingly virtual spaces, in a collection of essays interspersed with personal reflections.
But the house and the home are two very different things, so what is a home? Is it where we were born? Where we live? Maybe home is whatever shelters our memories, our shadows, and our light. Maybe it's whatever protects our peace and allows us to dream. And maybe, it is whatever we can find to hold our most intimate selves.
This project was initiated under the supervision of PhD Felix Kosok at the German International University in Berlin, Germany.

The accompanying zine, titled Made with Love, details the journey of a small group of friends trying to create yet another home for themselves, this time in the unfamiliar landscape of Berlin.
